Serryn O'Regan has over 25 years experience in business and law. She has been the lead lawyer on legal deals worth up to A$2.4 Billion, and worked on private and government matters across Australia and SE Asia.

 

Serryn O’Regan has been a Senior Associate at Allens (now Allens Linklaters) and commenced her legal career at Mallesons. She has worked extensively in-house in three heavily regulated industries including as General Counsel. Serryn has acted on large international joint ventures and coordinated large teams of lawyers, financiers, government representatives and large multi-national corporate interests.

 

Serryn O’Regan has directed the international campaign of a global charity based in Washington DC which currently reaches 1 billion people; at that charity, Serryn forged and managed relationships with the United Nations as well as coordinating 10,000 member groups in 190 countries.

 

A seasoned public speaker having presented to audiences of up to 30,000 in China and Japan, Serryn has also presented to solicitors on professionalism, integrity and ethics for the modern lawyer. Serryn O’Regan has twice served on the Law Society Ethics Committee and the Professional Conduct Advisory Panel, being the senior solicitors panel advising on professional conduct matters for NSW lawyers.

 

She is an official mentor to lawyers for Australian Corporate Counsel and was shortlisted for Corporate Counsel of the Year in 2018.
